I was running ffmpeg on OmniOS and honestly thought it was just something wonky with ffmpeg's illumos support. It doesn't seem to try to redownload that file, it just breezes on by. On trying to record the screen for the very first time, ShareX will prompt you to download ‘ ffmpeg.exe ’ ShareX will automatically download the necessary files. I ran into this same problem last year (Jan 2020), but at the time it seemed like I was the only one experiencing it. ts file which equates to a few seconds of skippage.
